Company Description
Founded in 1966 and Royal Warrant Holder since 2004, Selectaglaze is the leading specialist in secondary glazing. The systems have been used extensively in the education sector to provide significant thermal insulation (reducing energy costs), noise reduction to enhance concentration and added security for areas with sensitive data or equipment.
Sustainability Statement
All units are manufactured at our St Albans factory and installed by our in-house teams or approved referral partners. Products are independently tested and certified so that clients feel secure in their quality and performance.
Recent Projects
Grade I Listed Queens College, University of Cambridge, was fitted with secondary glazing in the student rooms and ancient library to raise the acoustic and thermal performance of the original glazed windows to create a more conducive environment for study.
The laboratories in the Sherrington Building, University of Liverpool, received secondary glazing to provide privacy by having integral blinds within the secondary glazing, as well as for noise reduction.
Over 200 secondary glazing units were fitted in the Grade 2* Listed Aston Webb Great Hall, University of Birmingham, to create a warmer and quieter space for students.
