Revolving Green Fund 2016/17 - Deadline Friday 10th February
 

This is a reminder that applications for the 2016/17 round of funding will close this Friday (10th February.)

Salix will assess applications as they are received, so early submissions are encouraged to allow the maximum possible time for any follow up discussions on your projects.

Once an application has been completed, this can be submitted alongside supporting information through the application page on our website.
If you require any help with your application or you would like to discuss your projects, please contact a member of the Salix HEI team who will be happy to help.

If you are interested in applying but will not be able to make an application by the 10th of February, please let Salix know.

Case Study - University of Nottingham
The University of Nottingham recently completed a large-scale energy efficiency project at their Medical School. The project, which completed in January 2016, was funded through the fourth round of the Revolving Green Fund with £1,054,000 being provided as an interest-free loan.
The project involved the inefficient chilled water plant being replaced with a highly efficient Turbocor system. The project is expecting to help save approximately 852 tonnes of carbon* and over £237,740 annually from energy bills, with the lifetime financial savings expected to be over £3.4 million.

“The RGF4 funding enabled us to carry out one of the key projects in our carbon reduction programme. The interest-free loan allowed us to use the latest technology to deliver the most efficient chilled water system for the Medical School, our most energy intensive building. We are already seeing significant financial and carbon savings since the project completed and we look forward to continuing our work with Salix in the future.” – Andy Nolan, Director of Sustainability at University of Nottingham.
