Regional meetings

Most Regions meet in person regularly throughout the year, whether it be annually, bi-yearly or even monthly. Others communicate virtually via email or via a dedicated JISC-mail group (ideal for groups made up of EAUC Members).

Meetings are often held at Regional Members’ institutions to benefit from a free venue. This responsibility is rotated so each member can ‘host’ by providing the room and catering. Meeting dates, minutes and actions should be stored on the Region’s online portal on the EAUC website for all Members to view.

There is no requirement for Annual General Meetings, although some Regions do carry them out. The EAUC Executive Office can provide guidance on carrying out an AGM should this be required.

The EAUC will aim to attend meetings, wherever possible, to present an overview of recent EAUC projects, initiatives, services and events. Often this will be carried out virtually by way of an email update that can be shared with the group.
