Seeing sustainable development as part of the improvement agenda

In 2010, Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) launched "Leading and Learning for a Sustainable Future", a wide-ranging strategy to support the sector in responding to the challenge, recognising a growing appetite in the sector to understand, apply and champion sustainable thinking and practice. In August 2011 an update to the strategy was published;
Leading and Learning for a Sustainable Future 2011.

LSIS Regional Sustainability Advisers (RSAs) appointed

Seven RSAs have now been selected to be ambassadors within their region for embedding sustainability into organisational strategy, practice and performance, and for developing the capacity and capability of sustainability leaders to drive change. They will engage, inform, work with and support providers across their regions.
