Our continued success will draw on the strength and diverse skills of our Board of Trustees: maintaining its balance of knowledge and experience from across the university, college and learning and skills sector is essential to our future success. We now have a vacancy for three new Board members.

We need top calibre Trustees who reflect the diversity of our sector and will provide the expertise and experience our high profile, ambitious charity requires.

The Board of Trustees contributes to the development of strategy and oversees its delivery by the CEO and our staff. All applicants will have a passion for and commitment to our cause.

This year we’re looking for motivated and dynamic Trustees with strategic, senior board-level experience. We also value the broader perspective of out of sector experience and previous Board experience. We are in particular seeking nominations from:

  • At least one position will be available for a senior manager (e.g. Principal, Deputy Principal) from further education
  • One position to have political insight, experience and contacts regarding communicating and influencing in this regard
  • One position to be in an advanced-level sustainability professional role
  • All nominations would ideally be of Director/Senior Management/Deputy level
  • It is desirable for nominations to have previous board experience

Being a Trustee brings great networking opportunities and enjoyment.
