This Fund is an £800,000 scheme that will run for two years with grants being awarded in three phrases.  It aims to generate more action to prevent waste at a local level in England and is funded by Defra and run by WRAP.

Grants of £5,000 to £50,000 can be applied for - Round 1 was launched in May and closes 01 September 2014.

IWP is open to local organisations working together, with innovative waste prevention ideas that target materials such as furniture, textiles, electricals and food.

Partnerships can be between two or more parties from local businesses, councils, charities, educational establishments and voluntary groups.
