Join Michael Lenaghan from Zero Waste Scotland to hear about the research which exists around the waste challenges created by disposable cups, and progress being made in Scotland to address the issue.

 
This webinar has been arrange following our popular Promoting Sustainable Behaviours Sharing Series event on Minimising Coffee Cup Waste due to the level of interest in the subject.
 
Topics will include:
  • Carbon impact of disposable cups in Scotland
  • Recycling cups – a difficult and expensive process with limited benefits
  • The reality of biodegradable cups
  • Taking a behavioural approach – convenience and charges vs. discounts

This free event is intended for anyone working in or with the further and higher education sector in Scotland. EAUC Members from the rest of the UK and Ireland and welcome to attend, but please note the facts and figures will focus on the Scottish context.
