Sustainability Exchange
The Sustainability Exchange will soon become the central point and community for colleges, universities and sector service providers, sharing best practice, knowledge and resources on sustainability – all online.
The Sustainability Exchange is a 2 year HEFCE Leadership, Governance and Management Fund (LGM) project, led by Staffordshire University in partnership with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC).
The Sustainability Exchange will become:- The online resource on sustainability for colleges, universities and sector service providers;
- Bringing together professionals and organisations on sustainability;
- Sharing online the best practice on sustainability;
- The central point for sustainability knowledge;
- The online sustainability community for the FE and HE sector;
- A holistic view on sustainability across FE and HE institutions.
It isn't live yet as we are currently testing the site but it soon will be!
What the Sustainability Exchange isn’t:
• It isn’t an organisation – it’s a website delivered by EAUC;
• It won’t provide the answers but will act as a hub to find the answers.
Benefits from using the Sustainability Exchange – for the User:
• Saves time, you will only have to look in one place;
• Access the best resources on sustainability available from a wide range of FE and HE sector organisations;
• Benefit from best practise advise, chats and other resources – helping you to do your job better;
• Meet (online) people with the same issues and experiences and others with the answers and solutions;
• Helps to bring a holistic view, linking colleagues across the departments within institutions.
If you want to register your interest in the Sustainability Exchange or to get more information please contact me, Gill Ainge, the Sustainability Exchange Project Manager and I will let you know when it goes live!
