Environmental Officer
Estate Management
Salary: £32,751 – £44,016 p.a.
Estate Management are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Officer to work within their Estate Development Section.
The role holder will report to the Head of Estate Development and be responsible for the development of policies and implementation of strategies to minimise the environmental impact of University operations. They will also act as a source of guidance for the University on scientific and legislative matters relating to operational environmental performance, including regulatory compliance and best practice, as well as promoting a culture of environmental responsibility both within Estate Management and across the University.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, or equivalent, and have extensive knowledge of all scientific and engineering aspects of environmental sustainability and relevant legislation. They will also be an experienced manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
