The EAUC's article in the Winter edition of The Blue Marble focuses on the dreaming of a leaner, greener Christmas.
With the festive period fast approaching the season of celebration and excess will soon be upon us. This provides a perfect opportunity to educate students and staff about issues such as waste and energy management. Aspects of sustainability which are particularly relevant, as the nation decks the halls with boughs of holly and fill bins with food, waste, cards, wrapping paper and packaging.
In our regular feature in The Blue Marble we wrote an article which implores the higher education sector to conduct a real appraisal of their behaviours, by perhaps adopting new year resolutions or by pledging to cut consumption during the festive period. View the full Winter edition.
