Partners are company members who wish to have the most strategic relationship with the EAUC.  Our relationship with Company Partners is based on shared interests and objectives.  This might be on our mutual interest, for example, in developing sustainability minded Executive leaders, more employable graduates, or new innovations in carbon reduction, to name a few. 

You will also receive all the benefits of being a Company Member and we will discuss with you how you can be involved in a variety of our strategic activities, which include:
 


Goal 1: Strategic Alignment – greater influence and alignment at the institutional level

  • Get involved in our Emerging Leaders Programme which supports the skill and development of the next generation of sustainability leaders
  • Get involved in our Executive Leadership Lab which provides opportunities for institutional and sustainability leaders to meet, build common insight and understanding, and develop a shared language and approach to change 


Goal 2: Advocacy – greater voice at the societal level

  • Help us research and create a new generation of powerful engagement and influence opportunities, tools and training to support members understanding and skills to influence sustainability in their external communities
  • Help us lead new opportunities to build alignment and influence between other international education sustainability networks in the Global Alliance for Quality Education to have greater influence in UN and international policy development which then better supports our UK and Irish members 


Goal 3: Research and Knowledge Exchange – greater innovation at the sector level

  • Support new innovation and development of a whole-institution performance improvement and reporting
  • Support our research programme to inspire and support our members such as our Living Labs programme or new ways to scale the best practice of Green Gown Award winners 


Goal 4: Building our Resources – improved business model

  • Support our pioneering Future Business Council to initiate a high-level dialogue between leaders of universities and industry to meet the graduate needs of tomorrows workplace
  • Support our Catalysing Transformative Leadership for Sustainability Programme in Scotland to further shape and support the post-16 sector in Scotland to develop a skilled and informed, whole-institutional approach to carbon and resource management, leadership, social responsibility and environmental sustainability
  • Support our Scotland Office to implement a Sustainability Internship Programme, developing the sustainability literacy of recent graduates and subsidising their salary to support under-resourced institutions to respond to sustainability challenges 


Goal 5: Stronger Community – improved member engagement and recognition

  • Support our Member Communities of Practice, Topic Support Networks and Regional Groups
  • Support our Fellows Programme which acknowledges, rewards and encourages exceptional member contribution to the EAUC member community 


Goal 6: Expanded Horizons – improved organisational reach

  • Support our leading research and development of the UN Sustainable Development Goals framework, to engage with EAUC Members and those working in international education sustainability networks.
  • Support academics, researchers, senior management and students to meet the challenge of addressing education for sustainable development (ESD), through developing new systems and structures that enhance the EAUC’s whole-institution approach.
