Priorities

The Energy TSN has identified the following as their priorities for 2008/2009:

  • Work with the Carbon Trust to develop support package to help colleges and universities gather the data required to enter into EPBD SBEM software
  • Work with Envirowise to develop case studies (e.g. one college/one university) on benchmarking (e.g. water) with outcomes presented at a workshop for colleges and universities
  • Continue to support development of Climate Change Declaration
  • Develop a case study on St Andrews with EMS Ltd and Carbon Management Programme
  • Hold further workshop on EPBD and CRC
  • Hold in depth course on Monitoring and Targeting (work with Carbon Trust)
  • Arrange practical site visit to College/University on energy best practice (e.g Biomass Plant – could be linked with QMU at Scotland Conference)
  • Develop case study on Wireless technology at St Andrews and Edinburgh
