Sales & Marketing Coordinator - MyCarbon

The role we are hiring for is Marketing Coordinator. This is a brand-new role within the business and you will be directly supporting the Director of Operations & Strategy as well as supporting the wider team with our continued scale and growth.

We’re looking for someone with the ambition to assist with the creation, development and execution of MyCarbon’s marketing strategy; which in turn involves the creation and management of campaigns and content which will deliver leads, aid client acquisition and support retention. This role will report to our Strategy & Operations Director to help execute day-to-day marketing activities to drive the business forward.

Although the role will have a largely digital focus - from emails to SEO, webinars to Hubspot, events to social media - you’ll have hands-on involvement across the entire marketing mix to coordinate campaign activity. You will support campaigns and engagement journeys for our core services whilst working closely in tandem with our directors and consultants to ensure we build a consistent pipeline that converts, using both demand generation and account-based approaches. You will collaborate on strategic and tactical projects throughout the year to continue to promote our Climate action services to our core target audiences.

You should be a highly motivated individual with a passion for climate action and the desire to grow a business from the start upwards. You’ll be working closely with the three directors to help make real noise about our offering, ensuring we make a truly positive impact on the world. This is a role for an individual who wishes to grow with us, own their area and level it (and themselves) up.

No prior experience of carbon accounting or developing emission reduction strategies required.

What you’ll be proud of achieving with us:
  • Owning the very first marketing focused role within MyCarbon, owning this area and growing it through your own effort
  • Delivering exciting and engaging campaigns supporting the marketing efforts of MyCarbon
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing assets including but not limited to landing pages, website copy, email campaigns, social media imagery, SEO, content pillars, podcasts and webinars. You will work closely with third parties to deliver campaigns and assist with the optimisation of campaigns through effective reporting and analysis
  • Building a unique brand experience for MyCarbon and driving revenue through internal and external flagship platforms and events by engaging with our customers and prospects alike
  • Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to coordinate and consistently build brand awareness across industry platforms and events
  • Ensuring organisational goals are met through effective interaction with clients and prospects alike through all available channels to help build a full picture of the ideal customer profile, and aid marketing initiatives
  • Being involved and getting stuck in to in all other areas of the business, and feeling an integral part of the team

  • Relevant experience in marketing or related roles, including some project management.
  • Experience driving results and creating success for customers and businesses.
  • Ability to process data sets [mainly through using excel]
